Geography: Results-orientated teaching
Aardvark SKE ensures that our trainees learn for life. Our teaching gives them the knowledge they need to prepare for their future career as a Geography specialist.
We use a variety of additional study methods, offering a more inclusive form of teaching, to provide students with a better chance of success. This teaching approach is particularly designed to match the students' different learning types.
Our online course enables trainees to apply their learning in a practical way. The teacher's role here is to provide inspiration and encourage the trainee to reflect on their learning and set targets. Trainees can therefore determine the content and methodology of their learning experience.

I have always had a passion for geography starting with my studies at GCSE and A-Level. My knowledge and interest further developed during my undergraduate studies at King’s College London.
I am now an experienced teacher of some 26 years. I have always been willing to support the delivery of education by helping during times of stretched resources by also teaching Law, History, and
Religious Studies. This has enabled me to accurately identify the essential elements of subject knowledge within strict time constraints.
In my professional teaching career, I have held responsibility for Examinations, Careers as well as supporting and coaching student teachers alongside my individual geography teaching.
I have been an SKE Geography tutor for over 5 years and continue my professional development by teaching geography part-time.
I enjoy and have successfully supported numerous Geography SKE students over the past years; giving feedback and guidance with subject knowledge tasks and assignments and delivering live group and
one-to-one bespoke lessons. I have contributed to resourcing the Aardvark SKE Geography course, including, recorded lessons that all students can access.
I have received very positive feedback from my SKE students and the Senior Management Team at Eureka. I am particularly proud of the positive feedback from SKE students who began their course with apprehension but completed confident in their subject knowledge. I do not doubt that they will progress to a successful and rewarding career in teaching Geography.
